Competition Corvette Club of Michigan
CCCoM is our first born website under the relaunch and rebranding of IMB Information Technologies in 2017, and our largest and most sophisticated public-facing website to-date. CCCoM is a sister club of a trifecta, Competition Corvette Club of Toledo,
the founding chapter, and Competition Corvette Club of Indiana. The Michigan chapter consists of around 30 Corvette enthusiasts who strive on charitable work in and around the metro Detroit area. CCCoM is a 501c3 organization who not only helps the local community and needy families,
but hosts and participates in multiple local and national Corvette events throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons in Michigan.
Website Features
Reactive, dynamic, and adaptive design, look and feel
With so many types of media devices available today, it is critical to have a reactive and adaptive website that will look incredible on any device, from a large-screen multimedia computer to the smallest handheld smartphone. This is one of the most challenging aspects of website development;
styling any page so it will dynamically react to the specific device and browser being targeted; when an end user is sizing a browser window, the website will “react” and size itself accordingly for a crisp, clean display. The design, look and feel of the website is largely controlled by CSS
(Cascading Style Sheets), which is kind of like a “skin” or “theme” for a particular website. The “look and feel” of the site is controlled primarily by the assigned skin or theme; providing a separation between the “look and feel” and the “content” contained within the website; changing the skin
can dramatically affect the look of the website, but the content and messaging remains consistent.
Related Social Media links
Every website should promote and cross-link with all applicable Social Media platforms. Having your website referenced from other sites provides “ranking points” for your website and can help boost your websites results in search engine results like Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo, among others.
The primary Social Media sites to consider are Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. If you are not familiar with creating your brand across, and cross-linking your website with Social Media, no worries, we are here to help. We can setup everything for you, handle all of the technical

Master-page, child-page relationships
Another important feature of any well-designed website is its flexibility for change. We leverage and target the latest and greatest Microsoft .NET Frameworks and technologies while developing, testing, deploying, and managing your website. You do not have to worry about the ever-changing
technology stream; we will handle all the details for you, to ensure your site is running reliably, with the best technology available. We currently use a master-child page paradigm, where all the surrounding page assets, such as logos, titles, navigation controls, tagline, and footer controls, etc.,
are part of a “master” page, which all of the individual content pages derive from; ultimately making site maintenance and enhancements extremely low-maintenance by allowing the major “maintenance” focus to be on the content itself.
Hardened security, including SSL and Firewall
We at IMBInfo.tech are constantly working to streamline our processes and increase the use of digital forms and data with your Internet presence; we also want to ensure people feel safe and secure using your website and sharing their data with you. A website security layer provides secure and encrypted
access to a website and all its content. The security layer additionally includes firewall protection, virus scanning, and uptime monitoring, along with the key component, an SSL certificate, which will provide the website and its users a much higher level of safety and security. (SSL=Secure Sockets Layer,
a computing protocol that ensures the security of data sent via the Internet, by using encryption). “Secure” is designated on the Internet by the “lock” icon and the https:// protocol designation in the website URL or web address. An SSL Security certificate is necessary for an HTTPS web address. HTTPS is
the secure form of HTTP, and HTTPS websites have their traffic encrypted by security protocols (SSL/TLS). Many users will not notice the difference between an http:// and an https:// web address, but most browsers have started tagging HTTP sites as "Not secure" in more noticeable ways, attempting to provide
incentive for switching to HTTPS and increasing security. With this added security layer, we can also offer a feature on your website, a “Verified & Secured” icon that is clickable and appears on every page of your website; clicking the icon will show a security status report for the current website.
Dynamic, server-side code-based, database-driven events calendar
CCCoM maintains an extremely detailed and active event calendar that became increasingly difficult to maintain. Available calendar controls did not allow the level of customization and flexibility that CCCoM required in their events calendar; they needed to have the ability to “flag” an event as postponed
or cancelled almost real-time (especially so during the recent pandemic). We designed, road-tested (forgive the pun), and implemented a complete, flexible, and reliable solution that met all their needs and more. CCCoM’s events page programmatically reads all of the “current” events from a backend SQL Server database, from
the current date forward, for a period of one year, and then programmatically formats and outputs a results page, including color-coded events, titles, icons, and customizable links. We even provided the ability to dynamically inject HTML fragments from the database into the page real-time, so CCCoM could update or cancel an event,
and have it reflected on their website in real time. Additionally, this not only allows CCCoM to track both local Corvette events with other metro Detroit area Corvette clubs, but also to track and maintain national events happening across the country.
Dynamic, code-driven photo album summary and detail pages
CCCoM required another extremely flexible approach to storing and displaying photo albums from the many events they host and participate in. Same general requirements as their events calendar; had to be extremely flexible, allow storage of a lot of photo albums containing individual images, and
exceptionally low maintenance to add new photo albums, or update existing photo album images. Again, IMBInfo.tech put on our thinking caps and dug into the code to create something that would be flexible, efficient, and meet the customer requirements. We architected a robust solution that uses a single,
dynamic page that programmatically reads a photo album (website folder) directory contents, then programmatically processes all the image files in the designated location to dynamically create an output page on-the-fly; an Album Detail page that contains a formatted image for each item found in the photo album collection,
with each image dynamically formatted to accomodate the size of the current browser window, up to the maximum size of each image.
Digital Information Forms
CCCoM wanted to move away from their old, manual, hard copy documents; we started small with an easy-to-use Digital Information Request Form that could be used 24x7 on their website. This form provides input validation at the time of submission to eliminate common errors experienced with the old,
manual versions of the forms. We have recently expanded the functionality to include a New Member Application Form, that is also available 24x7 to a new member for providing form-validated and required membership details to advance an individual membership. CCCoM's website currently utilizes two digital web forms.
Secure, password-protected, club Members Only section
CCCoM also wanted to provide their members the ability to easily access club-related information 24x7; information that they did not want to make available publicly, such as club bylaws, member contact information and personal details, such as birthdays, type of Corvettes, spouse/significant other
details, etc. We accomplished this by providing a password-protected area, that only existing club members have access to. A one-stop-shop for everything club-related!
Secure, password-protected, club Board Members Only section
Same concept as the club Members Only section, but this is a password-protected area exclusively for CCCoM Board Members, who are voted into their roles by the membership. An easy way to share management ideas and concepts. IMBInfo.tech also used this section to submit samples for Board Approval
regarding club event flyers, posters, signs, labels, etc.
Database and code-driven Administrative Reporting mechanisms in password-protected areas for real-time reporting of Digital Form submissions
As part of the password-protected areas for club members and club board members, we provide real-time reporting mechanisms for all related digital forms on the website. These administrative reports allow access 24x7, on any device, with real-time updates of digital form content submissions

Monthly website statistical reporting
As part of a low monthly subscription package, IMBInfo.tech additionally provides statistical reporting for the website at the end of each month, quarter, or annually, based on your needs. This administrative report is sent to all designated people, and includes pertinent details about the website and usage.
